Special Engineered Honing Machines

We also provide the option of special engineered products or the capability of designing and manufacturing machines to a specific need and specification in addition to our standard stroke honing machine models.  We understand that every application and process is unique thus, only a custom solution can truly solve your honing system needs.  Our advanced engineering and design capabilities ensure a cost effective and productive solution can be developed for your particular application.

For example with our horizontal spindle stroke honing machines we offer bore diameter capacity up to 30” (762mm) and length capacity up to 80’ (24,384 mm).  Conventional “standalone” machines as well as multiple station and spindle systems can be provided.  Options such as incoming and outgoing automation (conveyors), automatic load/unload (robotic, pick & place, etc) and transfer mechanisms (lift & carry, trap & slide) are available.  Additional options include lateral and rotary indexing tables, automatic locating and clamping type fixtures and in-process and post-process gauging for diameter size control. System integration is made possible with PLC based control systems and color “touch screen” operator interface.
